Description
This oil is an antiseptic, antiviral, astringent, bactericidal, disinfectant, febrifuge, restorative, and tonic. It protects from wounds becoming septic, while inhibiting viral and bacterial growth, strengthening gums, and stopping hair loss. Furthermore, it lifts skin, induces firmness in muscles, stops hemorrhaging, fights infections, and cures fevers. When using lemon oil on the skin, mix 2-3 drops in a carrier oil and rub onto the area. Use this method for the following conditions: joint pain, poor circulation (rub on whole body or just legs), varicose veins (rub lightly), cellulite (rub vigorously). Colds, coughs, flu and voice loss (rub on chest and neck). You can also use this technique on your body as an insect repellent. For scars, use this same blend and massage vigorously on the area with both thumbs in opposite directions to help break up the scar tissue. As with most essential oils, do not use undiluted as it can cause skin irritation in some people with sensitive skin.
