Aloe vera contains two hormones: Auxin and Gibberellins. God created these two hormones to provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Giberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring. Aloe is soothing and can reduce skin inflammations, blistering and itchiness, while helping the skin to heal more rapidly. Additionally, in Ayurvedic medicine, Aloe is used to effectively heal chronic skin problems, such as psoriasis, acne and eczema. Moisturizes. Aloe Vera helps with sunburn through its powerful healing activity at the epithelial level of the skin, a layer of cells that cover the body. It acts as a protective layer on the skin and helps replenish its moisture. Because of its nutritional qualities and antioxidant properties, the skin heals quicker. Lessens the visibility of stretch marks. The skin is like one big piece of elastic that’ll expand and contract as needed to accommodate growth. But if the skin stretches too far, too fast (due to pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss) the elasticity of the skin can be damaged. That’s what leaves those unsightly stretch marks. These marks appear due to minor tears in the layers of the skin caused by sudden and excessive stretching. Aloe vera can help hide these stretch marks by healing these wounds. Various studies have found out that God created aloe vera with several properties that are effective in treating a variety of skin conditions, from flaky or dry skin, cosmetic ailments, hair and scalp problems to many more. It is also said to be useful in treating wounds and burns, minor skin infections, cysts, diabetes, and elevated blood lipids in humans, and shows some promise in treating more serious and persistent conditions such as eczema, genital herpes, dandruff, psoriasis, canker sores, and skin ulcers. Vitamin C has been shown to be effective in increasing collagen deposits and also enhancing collagen lattice contractions, implying that exogenous vitamin C application contributes to strengthening the collagen framework and maintaining a healthy dermis. Topical application of Vitamin C has been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Caused by mechanisms supporting collagen production, this leads to improving the appearance of the skin. It has further been proven to reduce the severity of sunburns and age spots. Ceramides: Scientists are uncovering the important role that ceramides play in the barrier function of the skin. The top layer of the skin is the epidermis, and the top layer of the epidermis is the stratum corneum (SC). Even though the SC is very thin — 10-30 mm or one-tenth the thickness of a piece of paper — it is the main barrier of the skin. It keeps chemicals that come in contact with the skin from absorbing into the body, and it keeps water inside the skin from leaching out. The SC contains three types of lipids — ceramides, cholesterol and free fatty acids. These lipids have different chemical compositions and different functions throughout the body. Ceramides are the essential lipids found in the surface layer of skin that help maintain the integrity of the skin’s barrier layer. When this barrier is intact, skin looks smooth and glowing. But with age and environmental exposure, our skin’s natural ceramides can be compromised leading to loss of moisture, roughness, fine lines and wrinkles, and allowing outside irritants to get into the skin. When applied directly to the skin through I Got Youth anti-aging serum, ceramides aid in treatment of certain skin conditions such as eczema and psoriaris, improve dry skin, and reduce signs of aging in your face and neck, such as fine lines and wrinkles.

Silk Peptides: Peptides Signal Your Skin to Make More Collagen – When we age, collagen is destroyed but not replaced. As a result, young and smooth skin becomes thin and wrinkled over time. One strategy to improve wrinkles and to make you look younger is to replace lost collagen. When collagen breaks down, it forms specific peptides. These peptides act as a signal to tell your skin it was damaged and to make new collagen. Applying peptides directly to your skin is a way to trick your skin into thinking that it has lost collagen recently and needs to make more. Peptides deliver amino acids into your skin – Because peptides are small, they can penetrate the skin’s protective barriers to get to the deeper layers. There is research showing that peptides are an effective agent in skin healing which is why it has been used for years to treat chronic wounds.
